Privacy

What actually happens to the audio

Audio is never written to disk

Streamed in memory to the recognition engine, then discarded. No recording file, ever — not on the venue laptop, not on our servers.

Captions aren't saved either

Nothing logged or archived. Once a session ends there's no transcript — not for the audience, not for us.

Custom fonts stay local

A custom big-screen font is read straight from your computer — never uploaded to our server.

Sign-in is only an abuse check

Google sign-in on the free tier only tracks how much of that day's 30 minutes the account has used.

Questions people actually ask

What happens if the venue Wi-Fi drops mid-event?

Captioning needs a live connection the whole time — captions pause until it's back. Keep a phone hotspot on hand as a fallback.

How accurate is it?

It depends on mic quality, room noise, and how clearly the speaker talks — like any live speech recognition, it isn't perfect. A pre-loaded glossary meaningfully reduces name and term errors; we won't quote a blanket accuracy number because it varies event to event.

Does the audience need to install an app?

No. They scan a QR code and it opens straight in their phone's browser.

If three languages run at once, will they interfere with each other?

No — each phone only loads the one language picked, in its own browser tab, independent of the big screen and every other phone.

Can I use this for a closed-door or private meeting?

You can, but anyone with the link or QR code can view the captions — there's no password gate on the viewer side today. Share it the way you'd share a meeting link.

Is translation included in the free trial?

Yes — sign in with Google and you get 30 minutes of translated captions a day, free. Without signing in you still get original-language captions, unlimited. For a full event, a partner password or a paid plan removes the daily limit.

What if I need a language that isn't on your translation list?

Translation currently covers Chinese, English, Bahasa Malaysia and Tamil, up to 3 per event. Message us before your event and we'll tell you honestly whether something else is possible.

How do I actually pay for this?

Reach out on WhatsApp or email first — we'll confirm event details and payment methods, and you'll get an order confirmation before anything is charged.
