Open one page on the venue laptop, turn on the mic. Nothing is recorded.
Demo 1 · The glossary difference
A short clip from a real Q&A, run through eventsub's production pipeline twice. The only variable: whether the speaker's name and his film's official English title were loaded into the glossary beforehand.
Real output from a live event — not a scripted mock. Played back at 1.5× real timing.
Real machine, real event — same caption layout you just saw above.
Demo 2 · Mixed-language moment
Real Q&A audio — the speaker switches into Mandarin mid-thought, and the Malay/English tracks keep pace.
Real output from a live event — not a scripted mock. Played back at 1.5× real timing.
Demo 3 · Industry terms
Real conversation about the editing process — dense with festival and industry vocabulary.

Demo 4 · On-site fix
Font size and colour, from the operator laptop. Try the controls.
Real controls — on-site these hit the actual projector instantly.
Where it runs
Weddings, conferences, community nights — anywhere Malaysians switch between Bahasa, Mandarin and English mid-sentence. Black box theatres, studio halls, open fields.
Privacy
Streamed in memory to the recognition engine, then discarded. No recording file, ever — not on the venue laptop, not on our servers.
Nothing logged or archived. Once a session ends there's no transcript — not for the audience, not for us.
A custom big-screen font is read straight from your computer — never uploaded to our server.
Google sign-in on the free tier only tracks how much of that day's 30 minutes the account has used.

FAQ
Captioning needs a live connection the whole time — captions pause until it's back. Keep a phone hotspot on hand as a fallback.
It depends on mic quality, room noise, and how clearly the speaker talks — like any live speech recognition, it isn't perfect. A pre-loaded glossary meaningfully reduces name and term errors; we won't quote a blanket accuracy number because it varies event to event.
No. They scan a QR code and it opens straight in their phone's browser.
No — each phone only loads the one language picked, in its own browser tab, independent of the big screen and every other phone.
You can, but anyone with the link or QR code can view the captions — there's no password gate on the viewer side today. Share it the way you'd share a meeting link.
Yes — sign in with Google and you get 30 minutes of translated captions a day, free. Without signing in you still get original-language captions, unlimited. For a full event, a partner password or a paid plan removes the daily limit.
Translation currently covers Chinese, English, Bahasa Malaysia and Tamil, up to 3 per event. Message us before your event and we'll tell you honestly whether something else is possible.
Reach out on WhatsApp or email first — we'll confirm event details and payment methods, and you'll get an order confirmation before anything is charged.
